Our Lodge | Yokosuka Lodge No.20

Yokosuka Lodge was the first established in Japan after World War II, receiving charter number 120 from the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Mason of the Philippines on 15 April 1948.

At the 207th Stated meeting of Yokosuka lodge held on June 7,1965, it was the unanimous vote of the members present to petition the Grand lodge of Japan for a charter.

This was granted at the Special communications of the Grand lodge of Japan on June 25,1965. Thus Yokosuka lodge of the Philippines became Yokosuka lodge No.20, under the jurisdiction of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Mason of Japan/

Our main activities are through monthly stated meeting (First Friday of every month, from 18:30) , In addition to deepening our friendships and discuss about charity ,friendship activities and others.
Based on the decisions of this meeting, we do charity, friendship activities and study session at special meting.
What is particularly important thing is Charity. Through charity activities, we will help people in need of help to have a better environment. This charity activities enrich our hearts and increase our unity.
As a major condition for becoming a member , it is need “Believe in god”,but if you a man of good standing and over 20 years old, you can be member.
Our lodge historically founded by American Navy people, most member are Navy man and Navy civilian, but recently increasing civilian and Japanese.
